I've always been drawn to art and have been painting for many years. Born and raised in the San Francisco bay area, California, I have a Graphic Communication, B. Sc. degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
After marrying a Canadian, I moved to Surrey BC, Canada, a suburb of Vancouver, and I've pursued this passion for painting through various art studies including University of British Columbia, Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Focal Point Photography Studio, hours and hours in the studio experimenting and honing my style. For five years in the mid-nineties, once my two children were born, I continued to paint and sell art as craft for juried Circle Craft and Craft House Associations in Vancouver. In our community, I've regularly donated paintings for charitable causes, held open house studio sales at the studio and created then taught art programs within the Surrey school district.
