​I am Amanda Kinnear, a Clarinet and Saxophone instructor based in Calgary, Alberta.

I teach my students the fundamental skills and techniques necessary to be successful on their instrument, encourage independent thought and creativity through musical interpretation, as well as develop respect for and interest in classical music.

I focus mainly on pieces, studies and scales, but am always available to help prepare band music and school playing tests.

I am very passionate about music and love to share this passion with students who are enthusiastic about the clarinet and saxophone.
