At 20 years old, Louisa Lu is both a piano teacher and a violin teacher. Louisa has received the degree of LRCM in Piano Performance at the age of 14, and remains one of the youngest pianists ever to be awarded both the ARCT (Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto) and LRCM (Licentiate of the Royal Conservatory of Music) in the 127th year history of the Royal Conservatory of Music. Louisa has also been awarded The Advanced History and Theory Certificate with First Class Honors with Distinction from The Royal Conservatory of Music when she was 13. This certificate is only awarded for candidates who have completed all 10 RCM Theory and History Exams with an overall average of over 90%. She was Principal French Horn in her high school Instrumental Band, and was a member of the Edmonton Senior Youth Orchestra.
