Affectionately known as the Godfather of Canadian Spoken Word, Dwayne Morgan began his career in 1993, and has since toured eighteen countries internationally, publishing ten volumes of his work, and eight albums. Morgan is the recipient of the 2018 Sheri-D Wilson Golden Beret Award, a 2016 finalist for the Premier's Award for Excellence in the Arts, and a 2013 inductee in to the Scarborough (Ontario) Walk of Fame.

A highly sought after speaker, Morgan spends much of his non-performance time in schools, teaching creative writing and Spoken Word workshops.
