Opening a new public studio, Pieceful Arts, in Simcoe ON has expanded my network and services, allowing me to facilitate larger groups in a greater variety of mediums. My primary medium is glass mosaic art, and I thrive when facilitating large scale projects with school groups and private organizations. Yet, in my personal studio time, glass portraiture remains my passion. I have facilitated glass portraiture internationally and have been ecstatic to have had art purchased and displayed on 4 continents. I love the evolution I see in my own work as I grow and teach others.
In addition to facilitation, I am currently completing a private mural and involved with #GAGL2019 delivering community engagement activities developing art to educate the public on our great lakes and the environment.

Mosaic Mural

Using the same set of materials, 200+ students, JK-8, created 300+ flowers that represent the unique virtues and characteristics we each hold. No two were exactly the same. Integrating them into this cohesive #mascot is a visual representation of the strength and beauty of a diverse population that recognizes and accepts individual differences as a benefit. It can also be viewed as an Inner-Peace Garden, to complement the beautiful exterior peace garden cultivated by the school. What have you planted today in YOUR #innerpeacegarden ?
