Centrally located within a short walking distance from the Sturdies Bay Ferry Terminal, Yellowhouse Art Centre is a public venue for the island community and visitors.
It is a platform for free artistic expression, a makery as well as a contemporary art gallery. Our goal is to help inspire and facilitate creativity in our community and beyond.

Pottery workshop & Photography workshop

Yellowhouse Art Centre had facilitated a Pottery workshop for families on Galiano Island via Zoom.

Pottery artist Laurie McCallum gave a three session workshop "Intro to hand building" She fired the participants works in her kiln and finalized the project with one on one glazing appointments. 

Also we had a covid safe in person photography workshop with youth during March break, small numbers and mostly outside.

We continue to host our weekly art with youth program outdoors!
