My name is Shauna Carpinelli and I am the curriculum chair of the art department and the visual arts teacher at Holy Trinity C.S.S in Courtice Ontario. I am writing to you today to share our pandemic art story!
My voice students and I (30 students, between the ages of 7 and 70, all kinds of experience, talent levels, etc) are in the middle of Broad-MAY.
We are proud to be running arts projects for and with students during this challenging time. We see the arts as a powerful agent of change and hope, especially during this time where our kids have gone through so many hardships due to the pandemic.
