What is the current state of arts and learning in Canada after more than two years dealing with pandemic restrictions, and where is it headed? Did we benefit from learning new ways of connecting with our students and audiences, or do we want things to go back to how they were before? Are we still fearful of gathering together in person or are we forging ahead with confidence? What is the role of the arts in helping our communities heal in the aftermath of COVID-19?

Creative Convergence 2021 - Confirming the role of the arts in pandemic recovery

Le Réseau canadien pour les arts et l’apprentissage invite toutes les parties prenantes à proposer une présentation parallèle ou une présentation par affichage dans le cadre de Convergence créative, notre conférence nationale hybride qui aura lieu du 28 au 30 octobre 2021. Les propositions peuvent comprendre des présentations de recherche, des études de cas, des initiatives locales et des descriptions de programmes qui ont un lien avec les thèmes et/ou les volets de la conférence. Nous accueillons les présentations en français ou en anglais.

The Canadian Network for Arts & Learning invites all stakeholders to apply to present a virtual parallel or poster presentation at Creative Convergence, our hybrid national conference taking place from October 28 - 30, 2021. Potential presentations could include research presentations, case studies, local initiatives and program descriptions related to the themes and/or streams of the conference.  Presentations are welcome in French or English. Le Réseau canadien pour les arts et l’apprentissage (RCAA) cherche à élargir son conseil d’administration afin de mieux répondre à ses besoins actuels et ses objectifs de planification de la relève. Chaque novembre, depuis 45 ans, le Labrador Creative Arts Festival accueille les collectivités de la région à Happy Valley-Goose Bay, afin de participer à des ateliers artistiques et des performances, des présentations et des expositions qui mettent en valeur la production artistique au niveau scolaire et communautaire.
