What is the current state of arts and learning in Canada after more than two years dealing with pandemic restrictions, and where is it headed? Did we benefit from learning new ways of connecting with our students and audiences, or do we want things to go back to how they were before? Are we still fearful of gathering together in person or are we forging ahead with confidence? What is the role of the arts in helping our communities heal in the aftermath of COVID-19?
We invite you to join with us as well as colleagues in your region and around the country for an online roundtable discussion. Take part in the exchange as we discuss what you have learned during this period of isolation, what you foresee as the "new normal" in your practice, how you are faring with the gradual measures to re-open society, and other topics. We also hope to learn from you how The Canadian Network for Arts & Learning can further support the work that you are doing, and the sector as a whole to ensure an stronger future for arts and learning in the digital age.
As a pan-Canadian service organization supporting arts and learning, The Network is committed to continuing advocacy for the sector under existing socio-economic conditions while preparing for a future in which fundamental societal changes will challenge arts to claim a central place at the heart of learning both in school and in the wider community. Now more than ever it is important that we keep the lines of communication open to be able to support and encourage our community of arts and learning professionals through this time of crisis and into the future.
Each meeting will take place over Zoom. We hope that you will take part in the discussion, but you are also welcome to just listen in if that is your preference. Registration is the same for both options.

En tant qu’organisme pancanadien à l’appui du secteur des arts et de l’apprentissage, le Réseau s’est engagé à poursuivre sa défense du secteur dans le contexte socioéconomique actuel, tout en se préparant pour un futur où de profonds changements sociaux obligeront les arts à regagner la place qui leur revient au cœur de l’apprentissage, tant à l’école qu’au sein des collectivités. Maintenant plus que jamais, il est essentiel que nous maintenions la communication afin d’encourager et de soutenir la communauté des professionnels du secteur des arts et de l’apprentissage, non seulement pendant cette période de crise, mais aussi lorsque nous en émergerons.
