From Artist to Entrepreneur

You are invited to participate in a special workshop and roundtable “From Artist to Entrepreneur”.  The event will include a sixty minute presentation and discussion on how young Indigenous artists across the North are turning their artistic skills and talents into thriving small businesses. It will encourage participants to think about their stories, talents and gifts as a way to shape their future and their communities. The discussion will be followed by a 2hr interactive caribou tufting workshop hosted by Inuk artist Haley White from Rankin Inlet, Nunavut.

The event is jointly being organized by the Labrador Creative Arts Festival, Small Economy Works and the Canadian Network for Arts and Learning. It’s open and free to anyone who would like to participate.
