The Art Gallery of Ontario hosts a series of workshops called Writing Explorations that teach participants self-expression in written and visual forms. This session is hosted by Dr. Wendy O'Brien, a Hamilton-based artist educator and philosopher. Dr. O'brien will work with students as they create writings that reflect their impressions of selected artwork inspired by the exhibition Photography 1920s-1940s: Women in Focus. This workshop is suitable for beginners. Students must bring their own 11"x14" coil bound sketchbook, pencils: 2B, 4B,8B, white vinyl eraser and a pencil sharpener with a well to collect shavings. The workshop costs $35.00 for AGO members or $50.00 for the general public. Students must be 19 or older.
