This summer Kompany Family Theatre is creating, packaging and distributing 300 puppet craft kits to families affected by COVID-19 and the downturn in the Alberta economy in and around Strathearn, a neighborhood in Edmonton, AB. The kits include craft materials and instructions and are attached to cereal boxes donated by the community through the Strathearn Community League. Not only is the cereal for eating, but the box itself is part of the craft materials!
In addition to the kits we are creating how-to videos so we can share the craft ideas beyond our neighborhood. These videos will be shared on our social media and YouTube page.
