The CyberARTS Program is offered at 6 different schools in Toronto: Don Mills Collegiate Institute, Don Mills Middle School, Northview Heights Secondary School, Charles H. Best, Western Technical-Commercial School and Lakeshore Collegiate Institute.
CyberARTS is a multi-disciplinary program that integrates the Ontario curriculum expectations with art and technology. In the CyberARTS program, students will learn to effectively convey meaning through both traditional visual arts media and digital media as they meet curriculum expectations.
The CyberARTS program fosters the development of artistic and academic skills while encouraging self-esteem, independent work habits and creative/critical thinking. In the program, students are encouraged to explore, analyze, create, present and evaluate their learning on an ongoing basis; a strong emphasis is placed on inquiry learning, self-awareness, critical thinking and presentation skills.
