  The Flin Flon Arts Council and in particular NorVA Centre (Northern Visual Arts Centre) has taken advantage of Artist in the School and Arts SMARTS collaborative programming as well as mentorships through Creative Manitoba.

• Out-of-School Time
  
  The Flin Flon Arts Council collaborates with the Flin Flon School Division on several Out of School programs including: Theatre School, various workshops and classes and the Flin Flon Community Choir rehearsal.

• Field Trips
  
  The Flin Flon Arts Council spearheads CULTURE DAYS Flin Flon which includes field trips for all Grade 3 & 4 students to local museums for story telling, history and cultural development and understanding.

• In-School Performances
  
  The Flin Flon Arts Council CULTURE DAYS programming includes in-school performances. It's newly formed Youth Arts Council now encourages collaborative performances for the public and student body organized by the Youth Arts Council.

• In-School Workshops
  
  During CULTURE DAYS the Flin Flon Arts Council organizes workshops in the school for all Grade 5 and HighSchool Students in both the Flin Flon and Creighton School Divisions. Other workshops and classes, including Theatre, Cooking are offered throughout the year.

• Performances
  
  The Flin Flon Arts Council has a strong and ambitious performing arts committee which is committed to providing quality entertainment for northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan. This committee presents 8 - 10 performances per year in a variety of genres including Dance/Ballet, Theatre, Classical and Popular Music. The newly formed Youth Arts Council has a mandate to present one performing arts experience for the youth annually. The Flin Flon Arts Council also supports the cabaret style venue - Johnny's Social Club.

• Group Classes
  
  The Flin Flon Arts Council offers community programs throughout the year through organizations such as The Flin Flon Community Choir, The Flin Flon Writers Guild, Flin Flon Pottery Club, Ham Sandwich Theatre, Northern Lights Dance Academy, Theatre School and the NorVA Centre. 2017 marked the first academic programming through our North Central Canada Centre of Arts & Environment Building Knowledge Course which was supported by the Flin Flon and Creighton School Divisions.

• Workshops
  
  NorVA Centre offers many visual arts workshop and classes throughout the year. The Flin Flon Arts Council offers community workshops throughout the year as requested.

• Outreach Programs
  
  CULTURE DAYS has become the standout Outreach Program in Flin Flon with over 100 events offered for all members of the community. All other organization under our umbrella provide outreach programming throughout the year. The Central Canada Film Group screens TIFF Films monthly at the local high school (HAPNOT) Theatre.
