Progressive Art for Progressive Kids is a commercial, family run business that provides visual arts programming for children, teens and adults. All classes are designed and taught by professional teaching artist and owner Daniela Easter. Daniela does both figurative and abstract work in multimedia and is a published illustrator.
Progressive Art has three main programs consisting of eight different courses per program that are run during the school year: Intro to Art (ages 5-7) Art Fundamentals (Ages 8-12) and Teen Art classes (Ages 13-18).
We also offer a Portfolio Prep course (Gr.8) for Regional Arts programs, a summer art camp (Ages 6-12), March Art Daze and July Art Daze (half day and full day art camps), a summer Teen Urban Sketching workshop, Art 4 Adults classes, Family Art or group sessions and in-school programming. All of our classes explore the Elements of Art and Principles of Design.
Our studio and classroom are located at the Beaux-Arts Brampton, a non-profit gallery in downtown Brampton. More details about the programs we offer can be found on our website and social media.
