L'UniThéâtre

L’UniThéâtre est le produit de la fusion du «Théâtre français d’Edmonton », une institution œuvrant depuis 1967, et « La Boîte à Popicos », celle-ci présente depuis 1978, et vu ainsi le jour en 1992. Compagnie de théâtre professionnel francophone située à Edmonton, le mandat provincial de L’UniThéâtre est de contribuer au développement de la communauté francophone et à la promotion des expressions langagières et culturelles en français à travers l’Ouest canadien par le biais d’activités liées au théâtre. Cela englobe le théâtre professionnel et communautaire, le théâtre jeunesse, des évènements spéciaux ainsi que des activités de formation et de perfectionnement.

Being the only professional francophone theatre company in Edmonton and one of very few in Alberta, L’UniThéâtre’s mandate is to contribute to the development of the francophone community and to the promotion of the French language and French-language cultural expressions in Edmonton, Alberta and throughout Canada through activities related to the theatrical art form, including professional theatre, community theatre, theatre for young audiences, special events, as well as training and development activities.
