Shannon discovered her love for physical theatre while acquiring her Theatre Arts Degree at the University of Winnipeg. In additionto her work as an actor on stage and screen, her training in physical theatre opened up many doors that lead her to a multi-faceted career.
Shannon founded the three-time Canadian Comedy Award nominated sketch comedy troupe ‘Hot Thespian Action’, she has appeared in over fifteen films is a stunt double with ‘Skene Stunts’ and is a mentor, director and educator of mime for the Deaf community of Manitoba which lead her to establish the internationally recognized troupe ‘100 decibels: A Deaf Mime Troupe’.
