Tara Crouse has worked as a dance teacher and choreographer for over 20 years in the private and public sector and has over 35 years of training in a variety of dance and movement forms including ballet, jazz, contemporary, creative, acrobatics and yoga. As a dance educator, she has had the opportunity to teach dance both as its own discipline as well as an enhancer of other subjects in various school workshops and projects. This is where "learning is made visible" in and through dance interdisciplinary projects. Participants learn about things like the solar system, Egyptians and patterns in nature by fully experiencing them through dancing and movement concepts. Tara is open to creative collaborations with teachers and students to design and implement meaningful and joyful dance experiences - whatever the discipline or theme, short-term or long-term workshops.
