Landscape and figure painter with the occasional western and wildlife paintings to keep things interesting. I work primarily in oil with the occasional work in acrylic, both in studio and in the great outdoors.

I am drawn to moody compositions with earthy colours, though the not afraid to use pure pigments for a little punch. Increasingly I choose figure and wildlife subjects that give the viewer a sense of voyeuristic discomfort, where as I lead toward more serene landscapes.
