Elsie has been painting and drawing for the past 25 years. Although primarily self-taught, she has attended workshops by: Zolton Szabo, Harry Heine, David MacLagan, Joyce Kamikura, Gerrit Verstraete, Alan Wylie, Portrait workshop by David Goatley of Victoria.
A successful gallery owner for many years, Elsie has also taught children's, adult's and senior citizen's painting classes - in her gallery, at night school and through recreation programmes.
