I am trained in classical drawing and oil painting techniques and find this to be a great foundation in building up my more modern, stylized painting. I work with subject matter that inspires me and that has evolved into my dramatic, bold and colourful signature style I have become recognized for today.
eanette is involved in all aspects of the arts within her community. She is the Past Chair of the Richmond Arts Coalition, having volunteered on the Board for 8 years. She is a signature member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Jeanette has been awarded public art commissions such as the Canada Line Art Columns and has painted sculptures for the BC Lions Society ‘Eagles in Our City’ and ‘Terra Cotta Warriors’ charitable public art projects.
