Donna has been a professional artist for 30 years. She is self taught, but credits much of her learning to other artists. She has studied many artists from past movements, her favourites being the Pre-Raphaelites and Art Nouveau. She uses medieval influences in many of her paintings. She enjoys painting Biblical symbolism and finds that the medieval themes work wonderfully.
She often paints women and loves costumes, flowing hair, jewelry, etc. Also, she has several paintings with ethnic themes.
Donna has sold reproductions of her paintings online for many years but has discontinued, focusing more on painting originals and her involvement in the local art scene.
