I have 25 years experience teaching students of all ages. I love working with children, and I enjoy students at all levels. I am a working studio artist; work ranges from abstract to representational painting/drawing/mixed media and printmaking. I am cartoonist (Silver Medal for Editorial Cartoons at the Atlantic Journalism Awards), and am also a facilitator of group processes; classes are a very participatory experience. After a recent PAINTS class, a parent contacted me to say "He loved the sessions and I was amazed at how much he learned." I learn a great deal too, so the feeling is mutual!
