As an Interdisciplinary artist and art therapist I let the content of artwork help to direct my choice of materials. I am passionate about art for social awareness and mental health. I strongly encourage everday artmaking and strive to personally achieve this. I enjoy and have experience working with children of all ages. Originally from Newfoundland, I moved to Cape Breton over a year ago. I won the NL arts and letters competition in 1999 and have participated in group and solo exhibits in various settings since receiving my BFA and MA from Concordia University in Montreal.
