My name is Suzette Fram and I paint bold, colourful contemporary paintings in acrylic.
I've been painting for 20+ years. After a traditional start painting mostly larger-than-life flowers and the occasional landscape or still-life, I developed a taste for 'painterly' work and slowly migrated from realism to abstraction.
My favourite elements in a painting are colour and contrast, so my work tends to feature a lot of bold bright colours, juxtaposed to create beauty and harmony, punctuated by contrasting shapes, colours, lines, textures... all designed to create the contrast that will give the work a focal point and make it interesting and impactful.
