Born in the Czech Republic where she attended art school, Martina lives and paints in Vancouver, but is mainly self-taught. She has Bachelors and Masters degrees from U of Manitoba and UBC, respectively, and is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her work is internationally collected, with hundreds of paintings in both private and public collections around the world—including the collection of the Supreme Court of Canada.
