Graham Peacock

Abstract painter.
From his origins in London, England in 1945, Graham Peacock has had a broad and varied career. He has exhibited around the world, has taught at the University of Alberta's Fine Arts program (1969 - 2008), and was a founding member of the Edmonton Contemporary Artists’ Society (1992 - 2015) and the New New Painters (1990 - 2000), an experimental group of north American artists dedicated to exploring the fullest potential of the new acrylic paints, with whom he continues to associate and exhibit periodically. The group was exhibited and promoted by the Parisian Art dealer Gerald Piltzer from 1990 until 2000. The former Museum Director and NYC Art Critic, Kenworth Moffett wrote (see links below) “the N.N.P . have produced and are producing, a body of work which is fully as exciting, distinct, and original as the work of the Abstract Expressionists and the Colour Field Painters before them”.
