I introduce learners to a range of ideas about: art, public space, "agency" as a caring citizen, identity, belonging, social change, memory, future dreams, visioning, communicating, plans & budgets.
I specialize in Art for public, environmental, health-care, corporate spaces. I work in Sculpture, Drawing, Video. Collaboration w/artists and non-arts groups (hospital, civic, union, justice). Extensive experience with Pilot projects. Consulting+Advising for arts councils, educators, urban planners. ...AND....I love to teach & mentor!

Mechanics Of Gauging A Trade

A first of its kind in Canada, a public art commission combined with a year-long residency, at the City's new Buildings & Equipment Facility; the public-art jury selected cj on the basis of her collaborative approach to conceiving, developing, fabricating and installing this large, entry sculpture. She opened up all the phases of her public-art commission to the hundreds of men and women who work at the City’s Municipal workshops.
