I am an art and design instructor, graphic/web designer, photographer, and professional artist. I have been an active member of the arts community for the past 14 years, am a member of several art galleries and art organizations, have extensive experience exhibiting my work in art galleries, have been nominated for and has won several prestigious art and design awards, and have worked as a graphic/web designer for several large corporations.
While at the University of Manitoba, I also completed the Certification in Higher Education Teaching program, where I specialized in teaching pedagogy, university level course development and curriculum design, feedback and assessment, interdisciplinary teaching strategies, and intercultural communication. These teaching skills are reinforced by over 10 years of direct teaching experience, including teaching and developing community workshops, art and design classes and lectures, and experience teaching at a university-level.
I am currently a New Media Communications instructor at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, and Fine Arts instructor at the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Center in Regina, Saskatchewan.
