Louise Grenier is a self-taught artist, born in Kiamika, Upper-Laurentians, who currently resides in Montréal (Lachine). She originally explored stained-glass and pottery but moved on to painting by 1990. The latter became a passion, which she continues to refine through contact with various painters and schools, particularly Brother Jérôme’s Workshop and the Saïdye Bronfman Center.
She explores nature and its environment through the expression of painting. Inspired by the sensuality and intangibility of things, she paints the light and silent space of duration.
