Hooked from the moment Christine picked up the cello and played her very first notes, music became a life-long journey. From performing all over the world at a very young age until now 30 years later, still playing and performing.
Currently, Christine owns and operates The Lydian Studio of Music. Starting with offering cello lessons from her home, The Lydian Studio of Music has grown to include piano, violin and guitar lessons. Still a home based studio, it is a relaxed and wonderful atmosphere in which people of all ages and abilities come to learn.
Because of Christine’s belief that music should be accessible to all, regardless of location or income, she has been developing an online blog for cello www.thecellogirl.com and an online academy www.iluvcello.com where people of all backgrounds can participate in fulfilling their dreams of playing the cello, or enjoy reading about the finer elements of cello and music.
It is safe to say that Christine’s energy and drive for the cello and music has never wavered. She at her heart, believe’s that music is to be shared and enjoyed by all. Sharing her skills and expertise is an important part of her life, so that the next generation, will have musicians to pass along the traditions she’s learned, as well as sharing her current skills with music lover’s alike.
