Alberta Chapter of Carl Orff Canada

Alberta Orff is a chapter of Carl Orff Canada, a national non-profit organization of music teachers dedicated to delivering the best music education to our students. We offer members professional development, resources, and a network of like-minded educators.

We use the composer Carl Orff’s child-centered, dynamic approach to music education where children learn through doing, exploring, and improvising. Orff’s philosophy brilliantly combines the elements of speech, rhythm, movement, dance, and song so that all children can succeed.
