'The Bandish Network’ As an online portal key OBJECTIVES are to influence, connect, inspire, forge collective working relations, develop new dialogue and redefine ideas for the advancement of Asian heritage artists, promoters, presenters, producers and the genre-specific engagement. and venues. Keeping our artists' domain at the very heart of our vision, the agenda of this resource group is to 'connect, empower and create'. for a fuller understanding of the Indian Classical arts movement in Canada. Members are from provincial, national and international influence who all play a vital role in the impact of global heritage arts. The network supports; genre-specific musicians, interdisciplinary artists, aficionados, producers, presenters, teachers, observers, cultural groups, business funders and emerging artists, thus giving equal accessibility for new initiatives and the opportunity to advocate for our specific genres. The network informs on new initiatives, calls for participation, events and ideas. Via this stream the heritage arts community Canada is engaged with a vibrant exchange for a stronger bridge that compels deeper associations, friendships, understanding, the formation of collectives and collaboration.
