R.L. Read, MSc., LTTA MA, BMus., has been a professional performance artist for 40+yrs, celebrating an extensive career in theatre, film & music; locally & internationally. She is a published author/lyricist/poet, and is currently, working on her next book: “Wreckless Carma”. She combines neuro-music, music psychology, with her background in the arts towards counsel with trauma-based issues. She also consults how to employ music for creating conducive audio environment within various industries for best outcomes. In 2004, she established the Aye Lighthouse Foundation to source R&D funding for music therapy research and hearing aids for kids in third world.

She and her husband celebrated admittance into the Travel Century Club members, having crossed over 100 country borders, by publishing their more humourous tales in their charity-driven book, “Around the World: Stories from Afar but Close to a Bar”. Her Five-Star Multi-award Winning B&B: Avonview Manor, Stratford, ON celebrated its Grand Opening in 2018.
