We are proud of our reputation as the premier training studio for ballroom, latin and social dance at all levels and for all ages.

Edgett Dance & Wellness is where you can learn, rehearse, create, collaborate and grow. We cater for all ages and all levels of dance. We are experienced – so you don’t have to be.

We pride ourselves on providing a fun and friendly environment. We want to see each dancer use dance as a way to follow their dreams, whether dancing for fun or dancing on the world stage. Our team includes a certified Ashtanga and ParaYoga instructor, kinesiologist and occupational therapist – as well as CDF certified and world renowned dance and movement teachers in Atlantic Canada.

We love teaching people to dance, but we love even more being involved in guiding people back to wellness.

  • wellness classes in support of dance, i.e. yoga, zumba and stretch classes
  • Private Lessons

    For those wishing to enhance their ballroom dance skills for competition, performances or increased skill level. Private lessons are ideal for those needing flexibility in their schedule.

  • Group Classes

    From beginner to advanced, our group classes have no more than 12 dancers so that each couple will receive an individualized experience within the group. They are open to those without partners as well as those with partners.

  • Camps

    A summer Performing Arts Camp is offered for children ages 7 to 12. They will learn a variety of dance forms, drama skills and will work on a performance to demonstrate their skill development to their families.

  • Workshops

    We offer a mix of short workshops as well as intensives. Intensives allow students to concentrate on one dance style for 4 to 8 weeks gaining proficiency and learning more complicated steps and figures. Workshops are generally two hours focused on a specific dance style, particularly useful for those new to ballroom and social dance. We also offer Master Classes so students have the opportunity to gain knowledge from a visiting dance pro.
