  Explorations provide in-school workshops and afters school activities. The Explorations Learning Lab provides a space where young learners have the opportunity to discover new interests, develop new skills and meet new friends. Our team of expert educators has created a series of workshops, clubs and courses that will challenge and engage participants through hands-on learning, inquiry and meaningful projects.

• In-School Workshops
  
  Explorations provide in-school workshops and afters school activities. The main driver of the learning is student interest. Through inquiry, discussions and questioning, they will guide the Leader’s teaching as well as prompt for possible presentations from outside expertise. Each participant will receive a project workbook in which they will maintain a log of their progress and learning. Through this process, they will become active participants in their growth.

It is about creating amazing things and meeting peers who share your passions. It’s about developing the resilience necessary to overcome challenges and building deeper connections to our world.   This year, Explorations celebrates 41 years of Summer Camp. Since our beginning as the McGill Summer School for the Gifted, we have stood at the forefront of immersive, experiential summer learning in Montreal. We strive to connect, inspire and empower learners and educators in a physically and emotionally safe environment where learning is fun. Our Summer Camp is divided into two 2-week Sessions in which participants will explore, discover and challenge themselves to grow. Session 1 takes place from July 5 to July 16, and Session 2 takes place from July 19 to 30. A certified teacher or an expert educator leads each Activity and creates an environment where children and teens can discover new ideas, skills and interests, all while building lifelong friendships. Summer Camp activities will take place at Kells Academy Elementary and Middle School located at 2290 Cavendish Blvd, Montreal, Quebec H4B 2M7.
