I am a professional artist and have been an art educator for the past 10 years. I work in multiple mediums, for painting, drawing and sculpting. Some of the most important techniques I teach, beyond the basics, include colour theory, art sight and accepting what comes out onto the art surface.
My education and professional career include a wide range of creative outlets including design, photography, education, and public installation art. I have been an art educator for over 20 years in business, private, and community aspects. My passion for teaching, a career in graphic design, and my love of creating all come together when I teach. I spend numerous hours researching & developing my projects, testing each one, then adding adjustments for alternate age groups and skill levels. This has enabled broad age groups to be inspired, challenged, and satisfied with their creations.
One of my superpowers is to enable anyone to create something they are proud of, even the haters!
