In my experience, music is the pathway leading to best outcomes for overall health and well-being, resiliency, and creative problem-solving. Music can effectively navigate life's road - whatever direction you are heading.
As a certified Heartmath Coach, with an MSc in music psychology, I use EmWave monitoring, combined with music and syntax to achieve entrainment, and self-regulation, as coping strategies to help those who have suffered trauma-based issues e.g. car accidents, personal loss e.g. confidence, death/grief (including complex & complicated).
As Level 2 Music and Care Practitioner, I use music to assist those in dealing with concerns of Alzheimer's, Palliative Care and Long/Short-term Rehabilitation.
Lastly, as an Artist Mentor, RCMT; I employ the power of the arts to stimulate change management and resiliency for personal growth, empowerment and enrichment. My focus is on youth through young adults; though, I have also assisted adults in one on one counseling.
