Nova Scotia Talent Trust

The Nova Scotia Talent Trust believes in the creativity of Nova Scotians.

The Talent Trust is a registered charity that provides scholarships to Nova Scotians who demonstrate exceptional potential and commitment to become established artists in their chosen fields.

Our annual scholarships include theatre, film/new media, literary arts, dance, music, voice, circus arts, visual arts, and design.

The Ontario Poetry Society - The Ultra Short Poem Competition

Open to Canadians and permanent residents of Canada only

Rules and Guidelines:

Poems are to be no longer than 8 lines and no more than 8 words on a line. Spaces between the stanzas count as lines. Poem title & space between the title and body of the poem do not count as lines. All themes and styles welcome. Poems to be typed one poem per page, single spaced either Times New Roman or Arial #12 Font on white letter size paper (8 ½ x 11). Poems submitted may be previously published, but no previous contest winning poems please.

Toronto Arts Council - Literary Projects

Through its Literary Projects Program, Toronto Arts Council (TAC) provides funding to professional, non- profit, Toronto literary organizations and collectives to pursue one-time or time-limited literary projects involving production, presentation and other activities that contribute to the development of the literary arts in Toronto. The City of Toronto supports this program through a funding allocation approved annually by Toronto City Council.
