Creative Convergence 2021 will demonstrate and celebrate the power of the arts to heal, to connect, to construct knowledge, to build bridges across boarders, to foster inclusion and to nurture reconciliation.
The Canadian Network for Arts & Learning invites all stakeholders to apply to present a virtual parallel or poster presentation at Creative Convergence, our hybrid national conference taking place from October 28 - 30, 2021. Potential presentations could include research presentations, case studies, local initiatives and program descriptions related to the themes and/or streams of the conference. Presentations are welcome in French or English. Submit your application here.
Randell Adjei is an Author, Inspirational Speaker, Arts Educator and Community Leader who uses the spoken word to empower and transform through Edutainment. He is the founder of one of Toronto's largest and longest running youth led initiatives; Reaching Intelligent Souls Everywhere (R.I.S.E Edutainment).
The Canadian Network for Arts & Learning will embark on a three-year project to promote equitable access and engagement in arts and learning thanks to a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts’ Digital Strategy Fund. For the past three years, The Network has been constructing a national digital map, which now features more than 8500 arts and learning organizations, schools and practitioners.
Juno Award winning singer/songwriter, Susan Aglukark will be honoured with The Canadian Network for Arts and Learning's Lifetime Achievement Award at a gala dinner taking place as part of the 2017 National Conference called Celebrating Canadian Diversity in Ottawa on October 19.
