This session will equip artists and creators to understand the implications and opportunities of artificial intelligence and also imagine the appropriate artistic and political responses to a world that will be significantly altered by the introduction of these technologies.

We need creators not only using these tools, but informing the conversation about how these tools will be deployed, and to whose benefit.

Join Artscape Daniels Launchpad they explore how the new Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) and Employment Insurance (EI) can provide income support to those affected by COVID-19. We’ll discuss who qualifies, how the benefit works, common questions, and some of the problems that have been coming up.

An advanced professional development (APD) workshop focusing on energy management for museums and other heritage facilities has been scheduled to take place from November 18 to November 21, 2019, at the Canadian Conservation Institute (CCI) in Ottawa.
