Write & Rise is a two-hour poetry workshop designed to help you tap into your innate creativity. This workshop is open to all levels of writing experience—first-time poets are especially welcome! Even if you wouldn't consider yourself "creative" or "artsy", given the right circumstances, you'll be surprised by the beauty contained within you. All you'll need is a pen, some paper, and an attitude of openness.
In this creative writing workshop, Spoken Word artist, Dwayne Morgan, will guide participants in creating two pieces of writing, centred around the theme of Identity.
For 26 years, Dwayne Morgan has managed to live off of his Spoken Word Poetry. In this workshop, Morgan will discuss his career, mindset, philosophies, and tips for navigating today's art landscape, for those wanting to take their careers to the next level.
