Creativity is leading the wave of innovation and change globally.

The central goal of the Atlantic Centre for Creativity and the Creative Connections Conference is to increase awareness, and enhance creative practices across disciplines including: sciences, the arts, business, entrepreneurship and education. It will be an interdisciplinary, interactive and collaborative conference designed to encourage participants to ‘think outside the box’, take risks, share new ideas and enhance teaching practices.

World Alliance for Arts Education Conference: Engaging with Communities (New Zealand)

The 7th World Alliance for Arts Education Conference will be held in Auckland, New Zealand from 22-25 November 2017.

 

The aim of the conference is to share and build research and practice that evidences creative pedagogies in community and /or institutional contexts.  Key features of the conference include:

• Recognition of diverse pedagogies and cultural practices.  The conference will open with a traditional Māori welcome (Powhiri)

• One day of the conference dedicated to the Pacific

WestCAST 2017

WestCAST (Western Canadian Association for Student Teaching) is an education conference held annually by the Faculties of Education in the western provinces of Canada. The 30th anniversary of WestCAST will be held on February 16 & 17, 2017, bringing together over 400 education faculty and teacher education students for two days of conversation and engagement on topics that are relevant in today’s world of teaching.
