Creativity is leading the wave of innovation and change globally.

The central goal of the Atlantic Centre for Creativity and the Creative Connections Conference is to increase awareness, and enhance creative practices across disciplines including: sciences, the arts, business, entrepreneurship and education. It will be an interdisciplinary, interactive and collaborative conference designed to encourage participants to ‘think outside the box’, take risks, share new ideas and enhance teaching practices.

Attention all drama and dance educators, artists and academics! Registration for our 47th annual conference Claiming our Voices, is now live! The vision of the conference is to celebrate, inspire and learn about the diverse voices that make up our drama and dance community. We have artists, educators and academics from diverse backgrounds sharing their dance and drama work around equity issues, arts advocacy, teacher and student wellness and the lenses which shape understanding

People for Education is a strong voice for public education. The organization conducts vital research, makes policy recommendations and ensures there is broad coverage of education issues in the media.

The 2017 People for Education is set to take place on November 4, 2017 in Toronto. 

The Canadian Network for Arts & Learning (Le Réseau canadien pour les arts et l'apprentissage) is thrilled to announce our National Conference Celebrating Canadian Diversity, October 18-20, 2017 in the stunning, cultural gathering space of the Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health in Ottawa.

The 7th World Alliance for Arts Education Conference will be held in Auckland, New Zealand from 22-25 November 2017.

The aim of the conference is to share and build research and practice that evidences creative pedagogies in community and /or institutional contexts.  Key features of the conference include:

• Recognition of diverse pedagogies and cultural practices.  The conference will open with a traditional Māori welcome (Powhiri)

• One day of the conference dedicated to the Pacific

WestCAST (Western Canadian Association for Student Teaching) is an education conference held annually by the Faculties of Education in the western provinces of Canada. The 30th anniversary of WestCAST will be held on February 16 & 17, 2017, bringing together over 400 education faculty and teacher education students for two days of conversation and engagement on topics that are relevant in today’s world of teaching.

If you have big ideas about sustainability, creativity, and technology in education, the UBC Education Students’ Association is now accepting individual or group proposals from teacher candidates interested in presenting at WestCAST 2017.
