Art Master 8 Artists, 1 Venue, 1 Theme, 1 Hour and 1 Mystery Box
About this Event:
Now in its third instalment Art Masters, presented by the Vancouver Visual Art Foundation (the same folks that bring you Art Vancouver) is an art competition in which professional artists can show their creative skills in a new and exciting environment.
Art Masters returns to The Portside Pub at 7PM on Thursday October 17th.
Artists will be given a theme in advance and their task is to express this theme with just one hour on the clock. The theme for this event is Halloween inspired, Day of the Dead. Just 15 minutes prior to the start of the competition, artists will receive a ‘surprise’ box of supplies forcing them to get creative and innovative with the unconventional painting tools and canvas we provide.
The best part? You choose the winner!
Following the hour-long contest, the audience will choose the winner by judging creativity and originality with the given theme, quality of the artistic composition, and overall impression of the art.
