As part of Arts in the Garden, an all ages outdoor community event hosted by North Van Arts, there are workshops being offered in partnership with Wild Bird Trust of BC over the May 27 & 28 weekend.
Birds of the Inlet, Songs and Stories With Les George is an activity for children and families to learn about stories that reveal the relations between birds and Tsleil-Waututh members on these lands and waters, inspiring creative expression of birds in the rest of the weekend’s activities. It is free to attend, although we ask that you please register in advance if you are able to, so that we know how many people to prepare to welcome.
There are 4 workshop/activities, a community parade, an exhibition and a Coast Salish plant nursery to explore at this garden location.
