We're so excited to welcome you back to the gallery or virtually for our popular Brother XII presentations!
The Brother XII presentation, led by curator Aimee Greenaway, examines the history of Edward Wilson and his rise and fall as Brother XII from a spiritual teacher to high-profile court cases, scandals and conspiracy theories. His followers’ stories, including Madame Zee, illuminate this dark chapter in Nanaimo’s history. Stories and photos provide insight into this controversial historical figure.
The in-person presentations take place at 6:30pm at the Museum on Wednesday October 20 and Wednesday October 27. The virtual presentation starts at 6:30pm on Zoom on Thursday, October 28 at 6:30pm. All versions last 1 hour and tickets cost $10 per person. Pre-registration is required.
