The Young & Emerging Leaders Forum will provide a space for young scholars, emerging leaders, and new colleagues to the field of arts education to share their work, network, and develop a community of learning in order to expand opportunities and broaden the leadership pipeline in the global field of arts and cultural education.
All presentations will address topics relevant to the study of leadership development, career pipeline, and the needs of young and emerging colleagues in the field of arts and cultural education.
Program
The Forum will be held live from 2:00pm EST / 19:00 GMT to 4:00pm EST / 21:00 GMT.
Recording & Digitization
The Forum will be offered live, in real time, on 27 October 2020 and it will be recorded. Immediately following, the videos will be edited, captioned, made available for translation, and uploaded to the WAAE website. We expect a digital archive to be available by 1 November 2020.
The facilitated discussion will not be recorded or digitized.
Submitted papers will be edited by a committee of peers and will be published as Forum Proceedings after the event.
Registration
Registration must be completed in order to participate in the Forum. The event is offered for free, however, optional contributions may be made to help defer the cost of producing this global virtual event.
