We’re pleased to announce the program for this year’s Mighty Niagara Film Fest! We were overwhelmed with so many great submissions in our inaugural year and we look forward to sharing some of them with you.
The Mighty Niagara Film Fest has a focus on screening films made about or in Niagara, by filmmakers with connections to the region, as well as films of special interest to Niagara audiences.
The fest is presented at in-person outdoor events and select online screenings. Films will screen from Wednesday 18 to Sunday 22 of August 2021 at unique venues across Niagara including the Thomas Craig Oliver Terrace on the rooftop of the Niagara Artists Centre and the grounds of the Silver Spire Church in downtown St. Catharines, the vineyards of Stratus Winery, and along the Niagara River at RiverBrink Art Museum in historic Queenston.
Produced and organized by the Niagara Artists Centre, the festival is also supported by many community partners, including founding sponsor Stratus Vineyards, and funding partners Ontario Trillium Foundation, Niagara Region’s Tourism Adaption Recovery Fund, Niagara Investment in Culture, Ontario Arts Council, Canada Council for the Arts, and the City fo St. Catharines’ Cultural Investment Program.
