As part of Arts in the Garden, hosted by North Van Arts, an all ages outdoor community event, there are workshops and activities being offered in partnership with Wild Bird Trust of BC, all weekend May 27 &28.
Participants will engage in movement-based and embodied meditative activities inspired by the natural world. How do fungi move? Are mycelial networks similar to our own fascial web? How can we open our senses to connect with the natural world around us? In this workshop, we will explore these questions through the body. This workshop is for anyone curious about the body and ecology. No experience is necessary.
There are four workshop/activities, a community parade, exhibition, and Coast Salish Plant Nursery to explore at Garden 13 of Arts in the Garden.
