SPIN El Poeta is an arts educator with nearly two decades of experience. He is the proprietor of ONE MIC EDUCATORS an arts education enterprise that funds the LA3 Raza Open Mic series bringing together featured artists from Latin America, African Diaspora communities and Indigenous nations.

SPIN was fortunate to be taught Culturally Relevant and Responsive pedagogy and weaves Hip Hop as Critical Pedagogy into his work. He has mentored hundreds of youth along his career and takes pride in the longevity of the connections he has built with youth over the years.
